Why we chose pay as you go over subscriptions
Most screenshot APIs charge a monthly fee and delete your unused quota at the end of the month. We think that is broken. Here is how ScreenshotBee pricing works instead.
Screenshot workloads are bursty. You capture ten thousand screenshots during a migration or an audit, then almost nothing for two months. A monthly subscription bills you the same amount in both months, and any quota you did not use simply disappears.
We built ScreenshotBee pricing the other way around. You buy credits once, one credit equals one screenshot, and your credits sit in your account until you use them. No monthly bill, no reset date, no wasted quota.
How the math works out
With a typical subscription plan you pay for capacity, not usage. If you buy a 10,000 screenshot plan and use 2,000, you paid five times the effective rate on the label.
With pay as you go credits, your effective price per screenshot is exactly what you paid, whether you burn through your credits in a weekend or over a year.
Only successful screenshots count
A credit is only spent when we deliver a screenshot. Failed captures do not consume your balance, so you never pay for errors.
