Terms of Service
Last updated August 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of ScreenshotBee, including the website at screenshotbee.com, the dashboard and the screenshot API (together, the service). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
The service
ScreenshotBee captures screenshots of web pages and HTML that you submit, through an API, a dashboard, scheduled jobs and integrations. We host and operate the rendering infrastructure and store your captures so you can access them from your account.
Accounts and API keys
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. Your API key identifies your account: keep it secret, and rotate it from the dashboard if you believe it has been exposed. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and API key.
Credits, billing and refunds
ScreenshotBee is primarily pay as you go. One credit corresponds to one successfully delivered screenshot. Purchased credits do not expire and remain usable while your account exists. Failed captures are not charged.
Optional subscription plans with a monthly quota are also available. Subscription quotas reset each billing cycle. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you will receive an invoice for every purchase.
If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact support and we will make it right. Refunds for unused credits are handled case by case within a reasonable period after purchase.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Capture, store or distribute content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others
- Violate the terms of service, access controls or technical protections of the websites you capture
- Conduct unlawful monitoring or surveillance of individuals
- Attempt to disrupt or overload the service, probe its security, or use it to attack other systems
- Resell the service in a way that misrepresents it as your own infrastructure without permission
Your content
You keep all rights to the URLs, HTML and parameters you submit and to the screenshots generated for you, to the extent you hold those rights in the underlying content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use the pages you screenshot. We host your captures only to provide the service to you.
Our property
The service, including its software, design, documentation and branding, belongs to ScreenshotBee and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights in the service other than the right to use it as described.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service fast and available, but it is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time. For material changes that affect you negatively, we will give reasonable notice where practical.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenshotBee will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ScreenshotBee against claims arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms, including claims related to content you capture without the right to do so.
Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users. On termination for cause, remaining credits may be forfeited; otherwise we will work with you in good faith on outstanding balances.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
